RESPONSE: I read the article named, "Pink Cleats to Show Support of Breast Cancer Awareness." This article is simple but it deffinately shows that it has a lot to say and a strong point to prove. The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The article clearly states within the first few sentences that many teams or players on teams in the N.F.L. have agreed to wear pink colored gear in order to support the cause and raise awareness for it. The article later speaks about runningback DeAngelo Williams' experience and families' fight with the dreadful disease. I agree with this post for a few reasons. First I agree with this because people should be aware of the risks and effects of Breast Cancer. If everyone is aware of the risks, it might prevent a lot of people from getting it. Second of all I agree because this is a great way to raise money and support the survivors and victims of breast cancer.

I think that having the players of the NFL wear pink colored gear is a really great way to show their support and awareness for the cause. Just like the NFL, many different companies, organizations, and schools just like ours are supporting the cause for breast cancer.

Many women in the world today are affected by the disease that is breast cancer. Wearing pink helps raise awareness and support the studies in finding a cure.
ReplyDeleteIn the month of October, many, including those at our school, are doinging various activities and hosting events to help support breast cancer and raise awareness levels. I know that the Pepe advisory is having themed days, selling bears, and going to the walk for breast cancer this month. I agree with all who commented in saying that the NFL players wearing pink sends a positive message to those who watch the football, and those who either are affected, or know someone affected by breast cancer.
